This year, the Collaborative Research Centre SFB 1313 and the Collaborative Research Centre-Transregio SFB-TRR 161 offer the following coding workshop at the Visualization Research Center of the University of Stuttgart (VISUS):

Coding? I can do that! - Build your own screensaver

Do you want to write your own programs that do exactly what you want? We will give you the necessary jump-start. In our workshop you can program your own screensaver. Do you want it to be colorful? Do you want to add a text? Should the patterns move? With us, there are no design limits. You can direclty implement your personal design and also adapt it later during your spare time.

During the workshop there will be a coding quiz where you can test your knowledge and win a prize at the end!

Prior programming knowledge is not mandatory for our coding course. You will get all the important information during the workshop. There are also very nice helpers available to "look over your shoulder" and support you during coding. Of course, you can also ask us all your questions about studying computer science and find out everything about living and working on campus.

We are looking forward to code with you!
