Research

VISUS is working on the areas of visualisation, visual analytics, computer graphics, and visual computing. In the centre of our research interests is basic research, which is oftentimes funded by Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), but also applied research, which is supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the European Union. Obviously, there is a variety of opportunities for cooperation and joint projects between the working groups at the Visualisation Research Centre (VISUS) and the different departments of the Institute for Visualisation and Interactive Systems (VIS).
