Two Honorable Mention Awards at CHI 2024

VIS and VISUS researchers win prizes for their work

At the ACM (Association of Computing Machinery) Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI 2024) two Honorable Mentions were awarded to VIS(US) researchers.

Zack While, Tanja Blascheck (VIS), Yujie Gong, Petra Isenberg, and Ali Sarvghad received an award for their paper “Glanceable Data Visualizations for Older Adults: Establishing Thresholds and Examining Disparities Between Age Group”. Another Honrable Mention Award was granted to Lan Xiao, Maryam Bandukda, Katrin Angerbauer (VISUS), Weiyue Lin, Tigmanshu Bhatnagar, Michael Sedlmair (VISUS), and Catherine Holloway for their paper “A Systematic Review of Ability-diverse Collaboration through Ability-based Lens in HCI”.
