Successful Funding Application: School for Talents Faculty Projects

September 23, 2026

In the project VitaBeats-Talents, students explore their own research questions related to music personalization, gamification, activity recognition, or music-driven wellbeing.

Together with the Institute for Parallel and Distrubuted Systems (IPVS), Tanja Blascheck successfully applied for funding of a project within the framework of the School for Talents at the University of Stuttgart. In the faculty project "VitaBeats-Talents", students will contribute to the further development of the application "VitaBeat", which emerged from several student research projects at IPVS and VISUS. In the course of the project, they will gather valuable experiences with the entire research process — from developing their own research question to publishing a paper.

School for Talents is funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) under Germany´s Excellence Strategy.
