in Information Visualization and Visual Analytics in the following area and project:

Visualization for Smartwatches, Fitness Trackers, and other Small Portable Devices as part of the German-French ANR-DFG NLE project MicroVis

Applicants should have completed a M.Sc. or equivalent degree in computer science or a closely related discipline with very good results. We expect previous experience in visual analytics, visualization, computer graphics, or visual computing – ideally, also in the research areas of the projects listed above – as well as excellent programming skills and a high level of proficiency in both spoken and written English. Applicants will be offered a 2-year contract as a full-time research assistant (TV-L 13) in the VIS group under the supervision of Dr. Tanja Blascheck (Tanja.Blascheck@vis.uni-stuttgart.de).
