Applicants should have completed a M.Sc. (or a PhD in case of the Postdoc positions) or equivalent degree in computer science or a closely related discipline with very good results. We expect previous experience in visual analytics, visualization, computer graphics, or visual computing - ideally, also in the research areas of the projects listed above – as well as excellent programming skills and a high level of proficiency in both spoken and written English. Applicants will be offered a 3-year contract as full-time research assistant (TV-L 13) in the VIS or VISUS groups under the supervision of Prof. Thomas Ertl (Thomas.Ertl@vis.uni-stuttgart.de).
