SFB 627 - Teilprojekt C5: Kontextbasierte mobile Visualisierung

Dieses Teilprojekt des SFB 627 soll die einfache Integration von AR-Anwendungen in das Nexus-System erleichtern, indem geeignete allgemeine Mapping-Verfahren von abstrakten, möglicherweise zeitabhängigen Objekteigenschaften auf Geometrien und graphische Attribute entwickelt werden. Durch die Überlagerung von abstrakten Informationen undrealen, sichtbaren Gegenständen bieten sich vielfältige Einsatzmöglichkeiten von Augmented Reality (AR), z.B. lassen sich Objektklassifikation oder Systemzustände, wie sie über das Nexus-Umgebungsmodell verfügbar sind, visualisieren. Ziel ist es, auch für Informationen, die nicht im Hinblickauf eine AR-Visualisierung in das Nexus-Umgebungsmodell integriert wurden, möglichst kompakte geometrische oder bildbasierte Abstraktionen zuentwickeln.
